Last week, an attorney from Tomasik Jaworski Sp. p. - Filip Gołba took part in the roundtable of the pharmacy industry, organized at EP by MEP Elżbieta Łukacijewska, in cooperation with the Association of Pharmaceutical Employers PharmaNET and the Representation of the Lewiatan Confederation in Brussels. The meeting was attended, among others, by representatives of the industry, MEPs: Ewa Kopacz, Bartosz Arłukowicz, Adam Jarubas and Kosma Złotowski, as well as the President of the EFPC.

The subject of the meeting was the potential place of pharmacies in the program EU4Health, their role during the COVID19 pandemic, as well as opportunities for the development of pharmaceutical services and care in the current regulatory environment. Participants pointed out that during the pandemic, pharmacies were open all the time, being the place where patients could get the information they needed as quickly as possible. The opportunity that EU4Health may be and the breakthrough that has occurred in recent years in the role played by pharmacies were also discussed. Filip Gołba discussed the limitations of this new role and the development of pharmaceutical services and care resulting from the current regulations.
